Fashion maketh the (wo)man

Sooo, i know i haven;t blogged for a while - Dad says over a month - who am i to argue? I have tried to start a couple of posts but our internet for the last couple of weeks i Houston was sufficiently dodgy that eventually you just gave up altogether, and i won't have it for the next week at least either since we're headed out to bush camp. I'm gonna try to post some of the stuff i wrote tonight or tomorrow morning before we leave, but i hope you're not hurt if i don't have a chance!
In the mean time i thought i'd give upi a picture pf the kind of excellent fashion that tree planting fosters amongst its participants! This was me a couple of weeks ago when the bugs were out in serious force and the weather couldn't make it's mind up. I was just gonna take a photo, but i forgot and this is much better anyway!

Incidently, Mum, having got bitten so badly one day that all of one side of my face and eye swelled up (mmm...), i did invest in one of those bug jacket thingys, and it has totally saved my sanity this summer - so, good call on that all that time ago, even if i didn't get one to start with. It hasn't stopped them biting my shovel hand literally hundreds of times, or my back (as i bend over and it lays against my back), both of which are now recovering as the bugs seem to have calmed down a bit - finally!

More content will hopefully follow soon, but in the mean time rest assured that i'm doing fine - planting lots of trees (top so far is 1700 in a day, with my best bag-up being 300 trees in just under 1 hr 15min!). Having spent the last 3 weeks in Houston, BC (a surprisingly nice place to spend time) and a place called Takysie Lake (which was an awesome place to hang out, but a rubbish planting contract), we're now in Prince George for the night before heading out to bush camp near Mackenzie for a week. After that we'll head up to Gran Isle for a couple of weeks (which is back near Houston) and then finish off the season with a week or two back in bush camp again. Then, who knows...? Suggestions on a postcard (or 'comment' ;p )

Hope all's well with you all back home!
